Trail of Angels is a multisensory immersive experience inspired by the art and music of M. K. Čiurlionis. Visitors are invited into a dreamlike space where virtual reality, interactive AI-driven living paintings, projections, music, and interactive environments merge into one emotional journey.

Rather than simply viewing art, guests step inside it — exploring worlds that shift between physical and digital reality. The experience is designed as a place to slow down, wander, discover, and feel. Every element is carefully composed to create a sense of wonder, calm, curiosity, and emotional connection. Trail of Angels is not just something you watch — it is a world you enter.

Some of our physical installations use AI and camera sensors to react to your presence and movements in real-time. To enhance the exhibition experience, some of the incredible interactive moments you create may be captured and stored securely on our local servers for use in our physical gallery displays or shared with our authorized event promoters.

Your privacy is a priority — this data is stored locally rather than on the public internet, and you can always request to have your images permanently deleted by contacting our staff or emailing us at trailofangelsportugal@gmail.com.

While most visitors enjoy the 30-minute VR journey without issue, virtual reality can occasionally cause mild motion sickness, eye strain, or dizziness, especially for first-time users. The headset itself also has a slight weight to it.

You are always in control — if you feel uncomfortable, dizzy, or overwhelmed at any point, you can simply close your eyes or lift the headset off. Our staff will be in the room monitoring the session and are always ready to assist. The experience has been carefully designed to minimise discomfort, with intentional pacing, movement, transitions, and sensory flow to help visitors feel grounded and comfortable throughout.

Trail of Angels Lisbon is located at Rua Ferreira Lapa 12A, 1150-157 Lisboa, Portugal.

We are open Saturdays and Sundays from 11:00 to 19:00. Timed VR entries take place throughout the day — Book your experience slot here.

The full visit lasts approximately 60 minutes: a 30-minute VR experience, and approximately 30 minutes to explore the remaining immersive exhibition spaces.

There is no formal guided tour, but our staff members will be there to welcome you and provide guidance throughout the experience. Visitors are invited to explore the immersive space at their own pace.

The experience is recommended for children ages 13 and above. Younger visitors may also attend, but we recommend parental discretion, as the experience is designed primarily for older children, teenagers, and adults.

Please arrive approximately 10–15 minutes before your selected VR entry time together with your full group. Tickets are valid for the specific date and time selected during checkout.

Storage space on-site is limited, so we recommend bringing only essential personal items.

The main exhibition space and the VR experience areas are fully accessible for wheelchair users and guests with mobility limitations. However, please note that our restroom facilities are located up a short flight of stairs and are unfortunately not wheelchair accessible at this time.

You are welcome to take photos of the physical and interactive living paintings in our main exhibition space for personal use and social media. To protect the artists' intellectual property, strict no-recording rules apply to the VR experience — no phones or cameras may be used while wearing the VR headsets.

Pets are not allowed inside the exhibition. Service animals are permitted in accordance with applicable laws.
